Hi All,
It has been awhile since our last post. We have had so much going on but I'll try to give you the scoop.
First, David celebrated a birthday on the 14th. We had a great little cook out with friends. He loves, loves, loves to be the center of attention and this might be his last true chance.
On the 25th we celebrated our second wedding anniversary. Since it was a busy week for me, we just went to dinner. I can't believe we have been married 2 years. Seems like only yesterday we were all doing the Soldier Boy at our reception.
All along we have been having the interior of the house painted. Everything! So our lives are upside down. The painters just finished on Monday, so we are just starting to get things back together. We have a real modern vibe going on, with an exotic twist. (I'm trying to sound real HGTVish). After we get things back in order I may have to post some pictures. Shout out to Niccole for being our color counselor extraordinaire.
I'm now 24 weeks, so there is not much I can do in the way of moving furniture back in place. Nevertheless, there is lots of shopping to do to accessorize our new color scheme. :). I think I can manage that ;)
Tripp is doing great. He kicks now everyday. Generally, whenever things get quiet at night but sometimes during the day. It feels kinda weird having another being inside of you. Someone the other day asked me what I was up to. My response, "oh, I'm just creating life." Kinda cool, I know. Well, God's doing all the creating but I truly feel like a vessel. I am really in awe of how blessed we are. I'm just so grateful that he loves us. He's amazing.
Here are a few pictures of the fam. Tripp's furniture will be delivered soon, so I will have some pictures of the baby's nursery in the coming weeks.
I just can't wait.
